Design History

Manga Style! began life as Michelle's Sailor Moon Manga Page on August 8, 1997. This site came second in my attentions to SailorMusic.net for the first year of its existance, but now it's my most trafficked site and equal in popularity. Starting with version 4, I decided to try to make a success of Manga Style! by putting more of my personality into its design and pouring a lot of effort into frequent updates. To my surprise, Manga Style! started garnering attention in the then-burgeoning Sailormoon community: I remember being delighted when it won the coveted Amazoness Quartet's Best of the Month for December and then the Sailormoon People's Choice Awards III. The site is complete now and receives minimum maintainence to keep it fresh, but Manga Style! is holding its own quite well.
