In celebration of Sailor Moon’s 20th anniversary, Kodansha re-released the Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon and Codename Sailor V manga in kanzenban form from Nov 2013 to May 2014. Volumes 1 through 10 include the main Sailor Moon story arcs and side-stories.
A kanzenban (complete edition or “full version”) is generally A5 size (148 × 210 mm) and reproduces individual chapter covers, color pages, and side-stories from the original magazine run, features that are often omitted or converted to greyscale in standard tankōban releases.
The interior artwork has been digitally remastered and reviewed and approved by Naoko Takeuchi. All color pages from the original serialization are included. The complete edition is larger than any previous release (even the English editions), with high quality binding and partially-holographic covers with new art by Takeuchi.
