Mina-chan's watching you!Greetings web surfer! Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you enjoy your visit! For your browsing pleasure you will find here beautiful full-color scans from the Takeuchi Naoko artbooks, those rare and wondrous volumes designed to titillate senses of moon-fans; factoids and current information on MixxZine, the American-based comic magazine which is the official English translation for the Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon manga; a curious selection of manga clipart that I have assembled for use on your webpage; a collection of !free! programs and resources for making your own, extra-special Sailor Moon or anime webpage; a carefully selected list of links to sites with images, manga content, or lovely Sailor Moon merchandise. There also appears to be the makings of something called a Sailor Moon Clubhouse and an Artbook III Special...now I wonder what those could be? Come back soon and find out! But first, read on for more about the Sailor Moon manga.

In Japan, the Land of the Rising Sun, better known to its inhabitants as Nippon, a certain "magical girl" story called Bishoujo Senshi Sailormoon (Pretty Soldier Sailormoon) appeared first as a manga (Japanese comic book). This manga was based on a Codename: Sailor V manga which featured Aino Minako, who would later join the Sailor Team as Sailor Venus. Both manga/comics were written and drawn by Takeuchi Naoko. Ms. Takeuchi's Sailor Moon manga has gained an even wider audience in its animated form as the television show Bishoujo Senshi Sailormoon (known as simply "Sailor Moon" in some countries). There are many differences between the manga and the anime, and I love both forms. So far, I have read the second Sailor V tankouban (collected volume of manga chapters), the first 5 chapters of Sailor Moon as translated by MixxZine, and volume 11 of the Japanese SM manga.
